Police Should Treat the Poor and the Rich Equally

The efficiency of the police is arresting the suspects involved in Daud Abdul Rahman's robbery case is most impressive. Within 2 days from the report of the robbery, many suspects were arrested.

However, what puzzled me is that why were the other break-in cases not given the same treatment and the police are not so effecient in investigating the other cases? Is it because Daud is an assistant minister or is it because he is rich?

Police duty is to all, regardless of one's position and wealth. If Kuching police can show the same efficiency in catching robbers, maybe Daud's house would not be broken in in the first place, because all the robbers and thieves would have long been arrested and prosecuted in Court.

The Police should always hold on to the principle that everyone is equal before the law.
